2025 NFL Draft Composite Big Board
Everyone and their mom has an opinion on the NFL Draft. And every year, those opinions never line up 100% with each other. For that matter, the 2025 draft class seems to be a particularly volatile one in terms of players’ perceptions. So, let’s combine some of the major voices in the NFL draft industry in order to get a relatively balanced look at where players rank in the general conversation. We’ll cover the top 40 in this issue, highlighting some key players along the way.

Farewell, Geno.
A letter from a 12,
Like many 12’s, I woke up this March 8th morning, only 12 hrs removed from the Geno Smith trade to the Las Vegas Raiders, confused angry, sad, and lost all at once. I made my debut on the Bench’d podcast fighting for Geno, Comparing him to some of the top paid quarterbacks of the league. My only hope then was to open some eyes that Geno is underappreciated amongst fans and belongs in the top tiers of quarterbacks when compared to his peers. Something I wouldn’t have said just three years ago.

The 2025 NFL Draft Basics
We’ve gone a week without football. Can you believe it? You just experienced the first Sunday without NFL football in months – and the first of many over the next few months. At this point, everyone except for the most deliriously celebratory Eagles fan has started to turn their attention away from the 2024 NFL season and onto the 2025 edition. This means free agency evaluations, trade rumors, and somehow still the Jaguars’ GM job, but most of all, this means that it’s time to dive into the NFL Draft once again. Of course, there are the draft obsessives that probably have Travis Hunter’s middle school stats memorized, but for the rest of us, this is the time where we start focusing on the incoming rookie class. We’ll eventually get to a point where we have a favorite Day 3 inside linebacker, but for now, let’s talk through 11 big-picture, high-level questions that will at least give you enough direction to start conversations with your friends as you fill the NFL-action-sized hole in your weekend plans.

Super Bowl Preview
It’s finally here. The Big One, Super Bowl Sunday, The Game, and whatever else you would like to call it. The storylines are abounding and the energy is building. What year in the NFL it has been. Everything training camp injuries to insane endings of games the NFL never ceases to amaze me. We hope you have enjoyed the ride this season and as we put a bow on it, let’s do one last deep dive between the two teams.

the final four
As I type this there are three NFL games that remain before the lonnnggggg off-season kicks in. Teams are beginning to make their head coaching hires and fill out their staff. Draft prep is in full swing for nearly ninety percent of the league. However, for the four teams that remain this weekend’s game is for a trip to New Orleans.

18 Words on 18 Teams
Most of the focus over the next month will be on playoff teams. No duh. You play to win the game, and the teams who’ve won the most games, and who are still alive to win the Big Game, are the ones who deserve the most airtime. But in honor of the other teams that took part in the 2024 NFL season, let’s take a quick look at the past, present, and future of each of their seasons. Teams are listed in their draft order.

“Hear me out…”
Do you have that friend that is contrarian just for the sake of it? That loves bringing up random players in sports conversations because apparently only he values Marshal Yanda’s legacy enough? That makes almost entirely crazy arguments that have just enough truth to be plausible, but aren’t actually correct (even though they’ll swear that they’re right)? I’m honestly 80% that guy in real life.

a season in review
The calendar has officially turned to 2025 for everyone on planet earth. With that being said it means that the 2024 NFL regular season in its final hours of existence. It’s a hard thing to comprehend every year as it just goes so fast, but this also means it’s time to have a look back at predictions and how they played out. So let’s get to it and feel free to roast me on the comment section during the next show.

Vibes Volatility Index
Today I’m looking at which teams have the most potential for volatility over the remainder of the NFL season.

25 words on each team
We have hit the “quarter-pole” of the NFL season. It’s hard to believe that four weeks of the season have raced by and we have hit the team byes. With that being said now that 25% of the season is over we going to do a quick look at each team and give a synopsis of 25 words or less. Let’s get to it!

Early Season Surprises
The start to the NFL season has been nothing short of fun, crazy, and surprising. The bingo cards I’m sure didn’t have a lot of the circles that are on them currently. Let’s take a look at the early surprises through two weeks.

Week 1 Over reactions
Have you caught your breath yet? Depending on when you read this the injury reports for day one of the week two practice week are out and we are gearing up for a great week 2!
With that being said lets take a look back at week one and see what is an overreaction and what isn’t.

Questions, Questions, Questions…
The time has finally come! Depending on when you’re reading this article the 2024 NFL Pre-season has come to an end. We are now only twelve days away from the season starting! With that being said this article is to see what answers we have learned and what we still have questions about.

Coaching hot-seat
The basis for this article is that I chose to give every coach who is entering their first or second season with their team an “ice cold” sweet tea in their hand.

PREDICTING NFL’S BIGGEST TRADES PT.1
I have one simple question for you today. In the next 4 years, which NFL player will be traded for the most?
That’s it. That’s the question.
Now, I think it’s a fairly simple question, but there are a couple of definitions we need to work through. Let’s mention a couple of parameters.

Dungeons, Dragons, & Football
In the classic role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons, every character has an alignment, which tells us things about how the character acts and what their values are. (Or at least so I’m told – my D&D knowledge is pretty much limited to Stranger Things & that Chris Pine movie from a couple years back. Lowkey great movie.) But every character exists along 2 axes – on the first, they are either good, neutral, or evil. That isn’t too hard. On the other, they are lawful, neutral, or chaotic – this points to whether they have a strong, highly-defined code that they live by (think Batman), make it all up in the moment (think Joker), or exist somewhere in between.
I’m going to repurpose these alignments today and talk about all 32 NFL teams from these point of views. I’ll keep the same terms, but redefine each category a little to clarify what we mean & what we’re looking for.

predicting nfl’s biggest trades pt.2
We’ve begun answering one simple question. In the next 4 years, which NFL player will be traded for the most?

Offseason review & Predictions
Since the confetti fell on the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas back in February we have gone though free agency, the combine, the draft, and now even the schedule release. The exciting days of the NFL off-season have come to a close and outside of a few moves that will be made here or there, and some OTA’s you can pretty much take a breath for the next couple of weeks before training camp commences.
